I don't know how large the baby will be and I wanted it to be worn longer so having the sweater or not option gives it longer time. I also like the little headband. I like the fabric as it seems like it would be good for an infant. I think it's a cute enough set to be dressed up or down as casual. I am pleased with the price. This is one of the cutest sets that I’ve ever seen - the tiny newborn “dress” is a onesie with an attached, matching skirt and the itty bitty cardigan!!!!
