The material is soft on the outside with a cozy lining inside that isn't rough. It was easy to zip up and put on, and it kept my baby warm and comfortable. My favorite part compared to others is how soft the inside is. It doesn't have that uncomfortable texture. This is such a lovely piece for the winter.
