Recieved a flat tappet cam not a hydraulic

My son bought this in the spring installed it yesterday didn't check number on cam box said hyd. Lifter. after engine was destroyed we checked the numbers on cam it was a flat tappet .to late for us to do anything about it so warning just make sure you check the numbers no matter what the box is labeled
