Light and Sharp ! QUALITY SAW !

First of all, my experience with Black and Decker is that they keep on working! My kitchen is now completely B%26D because they are the ones that never need to be replaced. I've made 2 pots of coffee daily for over 10 years and my `Dust Buster ` is working fine after 20 years of use with the original battery! NOW, the 12" 40 Volt Chainsaw is simply a cinch to use. Today, I cut up about a dozen 5" %26 6" thick trees and cut down a few branches. I haven't tried it on any logs though. I have no doubt that it will do just fine. It only used up one power level light when I finished. Just a couple of notes. The first battery charge takes nearly 5 hours. It has lots of juice! The chain tension adjustment is ingenious and it leaks ZERO chain oil. I feel that had I purchased this sooner, I wouldn't have had to replace my last couple of saws. I can't be more pleased with it! It's a good one!

My husband was skeptical when I told him I ordered this chainsaw to trim the alder & small trees on our property. However from the time he hit the start button he was super impressed & the old gas chainsaw remains in the garage. Lightweight and most importantly QUIET! We love it and have told all our friends about it & two are now proud owners also.

Wonderful Little Chainsaw!!!!

After receiving the chainsaw, I was a little disappointed to find it would take 5 hours to charge the battery. I put it on the charger yesterday afternoon & this morning I took it outside for a "test drive". Oh my gosh - I am impressed!!! First, I cut up a large tree (about 14" diameter) that had come down over my fence. Then I worked on cutting saplings that were 2-6" in diameter. Also cut them into pieces that were small enough for me to drag. I'm a 65 yr old woman who is not in the best physical shape but I found this chainsaw very easy to use. With the weight of my old 14" gas chainsaw, I could only work for about 40-60 minutes before my arms & back were too tired to go any further. And, I had yet another gas engine to maintain. This morning, I worked for 1 hr 45 min with my new chainsaw. Sawing, dragging debris to the back, sawing, dragging...... I wore out before the battery did - it was starting to slow down a bit, but I just couldn't do any more. Now I'm thinking the 5 hr recharge won't be a problem because it's going to take a lot longer for my arms and back to recharge!!!!! HA!!! LOVE this chainsaw!
