Elkay SWUF3320WH Fireclay 33 in. x 20 in. x 10-1/8 in. 60/40 Double Bowl Farmhouse Sink with Aqua Divide (White)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family has a strong history of craftsmanship spanning 75 years, and as a result, I'm acutely aware of how limited use of focal pieces can add tremendous aesthetic and financial value to a space. The kitchen is more than a place to prepare food; it's crucial to helping others to feel welcome in your home. More than a living room, memories are made there that span multiple generations. The Elkay Farmhouse Fireclay sink is a highlight piece. Rather than the cold glint of a stainless washbasin, its bright white shade gives a first impression of cleanliness and comfort. I've personally found that the 60/40 split encourages one to not have both sides full of dishes, and to clear it out quicker (experience and motivation may vary). Additionally, the custom-fit cutting board simplifies and compliments the set. Installation was not complicated. However, as stated in the instructions, you will need assistance with moving it into position; it is NOT a one person job. Two would probably get it done on their own, but I was grateful for having 2 assistants and the extra set of hands. You will also need to trace the exact outline of the sink, as they are individually made. This craftsmanship is apparent and sets your item apart from the crowds of "lookalikes". You will need deeper drains than a conventional sink would require; I used the Elkay brand ones specifically made for their Fireclay model. Kept it simple and effective.

I had my plumber install it for me and it was a very quick process. My kitchen feels so different and so much more luxurious now.
