I have a 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan and tho it will tow 3500%23 it's not conducive for a trailer brake install. This was recommended. It was easy to use, tho it kept saying lost Bluetooth, it will still work at the last setting that you installed. Going from a 4 pin towing harness to a 7 pin towing harness was a snap. I can now tow my flatbed trailer, boat, and my larger camper that needs brakes. Set up was super easy. I chose to use a zip tow in addition to the Velcro strap they provided so as not to loose it when using. I also like the feature that you just take it out and put it inside your vehicle when not using. The install would be super easy for a do it yourself type car guy. I can no longer get on the ground for these kind of jobs so I took it in and it cost me $230 for the install. If you are in the situation where you cannot install trailer brake with controller inside on your dashboard, this is a good alternative.

Simple to use and functional.

Once you fine-tune it to your vehicle/trailer then it works wonderfully. I am towing a 21.5 foot travel trailer with a Hyundai palisade and needed a way for the the TT's break to engage. This was the answer. Didn't need to rewire my SUV, or add a complicated break controller. This took care of it.
