I purchased this model for our 13 year old cat because of recent vet PTSD experience hoping a new carrier would help. I put it out 2 weeks before her appt. & she happily thought it was a new cat cave bed. And so on the vet day she was must less stressed & did not fight going inside. (Very helpful that it has both a front door entryway & a top zipped entrance.) I also think it helped that she had an unobstructed view all round. She did have a small stress urine accident on the way to the vet - but due to the fabric & vinyl this was easily cleaned w/antibacterial spray & a good water rinse. The cushion went in the the washing machine & air dried perfectly.

My cat's favorite spot in the house!
I purchased this carrier to help with my cat's anxiety in the car by providing a safe space that she feels comfortable in when it's time to go to the vet. I decided to leave it in the living room for her to snuggle up in during the day and now I can hardly get her to come out! She absolutely loves it. When it comes time to go to the vet, I just zip on the mesh "door" and strap her in to the car. I highly recommend this product to everyone with cats!
