Razer BlackWidow Ultimate - Water and Dust Resistant Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with Razer Green Switches (Tactile & Clicky)

This Key Board is almost to cool to describe. Not only does it look good especially in the dark but it really has a great feel to it. The green illuminated board shines though every key making it fun to look at and of course type. The keys are raised up and when you press down they have a firm click sound so you can hear your selection was made. Kind of like an old fashion typewriter, only much much smoother. The keys are concaved slightly so the fingers have less chance of slipping off. I was surprised how heavy the board is and along with the tiny rubber cushions underneath keep it from moving and sliding around on the desk. A couple other features that are important to me is its water and dust resistant. That should make it outlast all the other key boards I've owned.

While this is not my first gaming keyboard, it is my first time trying a Razer Keyboard and a Mechanical one at that. At first I was saddened to see this particular model didn't have extra programmable keys on the side like my old keyboard did, but then while diving deeper into the customization of the keyboard, I found you could program nearly EVERY key unlike my old keyboard. So I was very happy to see that. I reprogrammed my left alt key to do the exact command I had needed the programmable keys on my old keyboard for. So this was perfect. I love the color green and this back lighting is perfect. There are several light settings you can use as well. I have mine on the default always lit setting, but my second favorite is having it each key press activate the light around it, which makes for a cool effect. Its a well put together keyboard, it has a nice weight to it and the keys press with ease. Pros: Lots of customization settings, features, and keys. More info on the description of the keyboard. Cons: Its loud, of course, since its a mechanical keyboard. But you get used to it.
