I have used Cascade Dishwasher Detergent products for decades %26 have always had great results with every form - pods, gel %26 powder. Cascade Complete Pods work well with the extremely hard water in my area. I do not have a water softener, so I just deal with the hard water %26 adjust my habits accordingly. Hard water tip - choose the sanitize option so you don't get hard water marks during the drying cycle (the air drying cycle without heat usually leaves hard water marks regardless of the brand/type of detergent you use) %26 use the Cascade Rinse Aid in the rinse aid dispenser too. My glasses, dishes, cutlery, pots/pans all come out clean %26 I rarely have any spots. I have had great results with all of the different cleaning power levels of Cascade pods - I usually buy the Complete version as it's less expensive (I have a tight budget) %26 works great. I have used the Fresh %26 Lemon scents - you can smell them a little while the dishwasher is working, but the scent does not stay on the dishes %26 there's no funky taste either. I haven't tried the unscented version yet since it's more expensive than the scents. I prefer the pods because of the convenience %26 I don't have to worry about powder spilling if the package is knocked over. Just make sure your hands are dry %26 you keep them in the sealed package or an airtight container. Put one pod in the detergent dispenser %26 close the door - the dispenser will open to drop the pods in at the correct stage of the cycle %26 the pods are designed to dissolve at the correct time in your wash cycle. Don't just throw them in the bottom of the dishwasher or they will dissolve faster than they should %26 won't get the detergent in the wash cycle. Follow your dishwasher manufacturer's instructions on the type of detergent dispenser your dishwasher has. If you follow the package instructions %26 are using your dishwasher correctly per the owner's manual, you will have great results every load of dishes you wash.
