mSATA is old school but works fine.

I'm using several of these to revamp older computers. They are set-up in RAID 1 pairs on two computers, one an older Intel Server running on Intel ESRT RAID with Windows 10, and the other on the consumer-level Intel RST RAID desktop. They just work and RAID 1 seems to increase the read speed to near M.2 level.
