My favorite scope!

After purchasing riflescopes of various brands and characteristics, I finally decided to try the Vortex Golden Eagle because I had heard only positive comments about it. Everything I heard about this scope was true: great light-gathering properties, very fine turret settings, easy to use reticle and the power to track long distance targets. In addition, it comes with some valuable attachments at no extra cost. For hunting or competition, this is the scope I would recommend. Oh, and I should not forget that Sportsman's Guide is the place to buy one, because you get a great discount if you are a member.

what a deal

This is the most expensive scope I own and thanks to SG I got it at a discount. The scope is clear through out the scale. I haven't used at long range but after bore sighting and zeroed at 300 yards in just a few shots. Clicks are crisp and true. Generous eye relief was a must because I am using on a 338 Lapua Mag. Very happy so far and will update when I get the chance to use at longer distances.

Great Scope

I am an older guy with not so good eyesight. Having the 60 power allows me to not use a spotting scope when target shooting at long ranges. I can zoom right in on the bulls eye. I we from placing 7th or 8th to 3rd place this last shoot thanks to this scope. Clear glass is another plus.
