I had never used a foldable laundry basket but had used one with 4-corner posts to support soft canvas material. This basket is awesome and supports itself. It is made of stiff canvas and holds it's shape when stretched. Very efficient and attractive. I chose the blue and white. It holds several pounds of dirty laundry without collapsing or caving in when lifted. Just what I needed and wanted.
