Carlisle Flat Free
OVERVIEW
The Carlisle Flat Free is an all season tire manufactured for lawnmowers and other garden tractors.
This model was designed with Carlisle’s Flat-free technology. This tire is made using special solid micro-cellular polyurethane materials that allow the tire to perform without deforming. In this manner, the tire is able to run without air pressure. Additionally, this also helps to avoid external damage. Punctures, cuts, and impact damage cannot cause air pressure loss, further improving its overall driving safety levels.
The ideal tread design provides excellent traction. The chevron tread pattern, with the arrow-head-shaped blocks and the optimal groove placement, improves the tire’s soft and loose terrain grip. These tread elements ensure the tire’s exceptional performance and driving safety on versatile terrain surfaces. Their combination helps to increase the tire’s overall driving safety and increase its turf terrain applications.
The Carlisle Flat Free maintains surface contact at all times. This helps to increase the tire’s consistent surface contact while the vehicle is in motion. As a result, the model offers better steering responsiveness and driving stability. This provides quick and precise steering responses, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. It ensures the driver’s better control over the vehicle throughout the performance.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed.
This tire has a BIASED ply structure.
Due to the acquisition by Carlstar Tires, Carlisle tires are now manufactured under the Carlstar banner.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
