Carex Universal Shower Chair and Bath Seat with Adjustable Height Legs, White, 400 lb Capacity

This my honest opinion after 10 years of daily use. Your experience, and opinion, may vary. I bought my first stool on Amazon, same style, same company. 10 years ago! The page doesn't even exist anymore! This second stool I bought here at Walmart . I needed the support of a shower stool due to difficulty bending over without face planting into the shower floor way back in 2015. I had the old version, which I did buy from Amazon, until this last month, when it finally developed a very small crack, about a half inch to three quarters of an inch, in the center of the seat. I feared that maybe even the heavy duty plastic of the seat was getting stress fatigue from 10 years of daily use. So I began looking around for the same chair. I got this particular shower seat originally because it looked very stable to me. It's mostly a large square, not rectangular. It looked like it had plenty of room to turn and twist, without falling off, and without arm rests or a back rest getting in the way. I really like the freedom of movement I get with this shower stool. I can use my shower brush to get at my back without a back rest getting in the way, or hitting my elbows on arm rests. There isn't anything wrong with armrests, and a back rest if they are needed, but I don't need them. I can sit on this stool and get to my legs, feet, and ankles, without bending and making my self dizzy. Bending is difficult anymore. It's nice and wide both ways, so I don't have to worry about edges cutting into me. It's got a small lip on the very back of the seat so you don't slide off the back. It's got nice drain holes in the top. This one is easier to adjust the height. Just twist the foot of the legs to your the height of liking. It's got nice thick rubber ends on the legs to prevent sliding on wet shower floors. This stool is hard to slide it, and to tip it over. if I want to move it, I pick it up that is easier than trying to shove it

This chair is solid and feels safe. I have used it for decades. Yes, I havd had to replace it when it wears out. The only problem is the bottom of the legs are rounded and damages the bathtub mat. I wish the bottom of the legs were flat.
