We wanted something that could hold at least 3 large bags of groceries and this does the trick. Included straps made it easy to lock it in place. Material is sturdy and should last a long time. Purchased this, not for a car trunk, but for an overland mini camper to use as storage, but…. When I winter camp in the mountains my Mr. Buddy heater uses propane, and in my camper I use a refillable 3lb bottle. The bottle usually freezes as well as puts off condensation. So…. I use the “cooler” part to hold my bottle, throw in a few hand warmers to keep the bottle from freezing, and boom, I'm warm all night long. No more propane bottle freeze ups to keep me from winter camping.
