Purchased 2 for a road trip for a toddler and 11 year old. Worked great for holding wet wipes (Though the support is only good when the pouch is filled to capacity. As it is used, begins to sag and hard to utilize by kids) Also good for cans or bottles of soda or the cylindrical canisters of tissue in the pockets, but not really on the pull down tray. My oldest used the tray as a card table and to hold a decent amount of legos or plus plus pieces to build with. It can support a small tablet resting on the back of the seat, but we tried to put a laptop and it was too heavy. definitely not sturdy enough for drinks while the vehicles is in motion either. This was great for the toddler. it held her coloring books with supplies and laid down right in her lap, so she was good for snack time or busy work. Overall we like them ans we decided to keep them in place after our trip, but the above use is all to really be expected.
