This detangler is a must-have for any grooming kit, and there's a reason it's so popular- it really works! This is my go-to product for knotted manes and tails. Both of my horses have fairly thick/long tails and I use this product to keep them tangle-free without causing damage to the hair. Especially in the summer when they are swishing their tails a lot, this is perfect for getting rid of the dreadlocks and keeping everything smooth and soft. Although a bit more pricey than other options, this bottle is large and lasts a long time. It's also very easy to apply and smells fantastic. I always apply this after a bath or before brushing out my horses' tails to prevent hair breakage. I want silicone in my detangler. This one has it and it makes tails and manes so easy to comb out. Hair stays detangled for days and is not greasy. Silicone or dimethicone is in almost all human hair and body lotions. Showsheen was great until they took it out. Now I use this Canter product and love it.
