This is what my grandson wanted for Christmas. He is eight and knows how to crochet. I don't think he will have any problem with the loom maker that makes pot holders. I had a loom when I was younger but it was made of metal. This one is plastic but it is well made. It comes with 12 different colored looms and a crochet hook. I ordered extra looms to keep him busy.
