We replaced an air mattress that was no longer staying inflated. Didn't know what to expect as far as comfort but it has definitely exceeded expectations. I placed twin sheets, a pillow and a blanket on it and it is so much more comfortable than the air mattress. It might be because it's firmer. It's actually better because it's easier to put away. Definitely worth the money and good for household use as well as camping.
