Purchased this unit for use when hooking my trailer to city water supply. The diverter allows pressurized water to drain from the faucet prior to disconnecting from the water source. No more spray soaking when disconnecting. Small issue but this is a neat inexpensive solution. I wonder why RV dealers don't include one of these with each RV purchase. The faucet also is a convenient outside water source at your campsite.
