Camco's 24" Pigtail Propane Hose Connector is designed to connect a propane cylinder to an RV or trailer propane regulator. It has a ACME nut x 1/4" inverted male flare. It is rated for 200,000 BTUs per hour. Safety features include thermal protection in case of fire and excess flow protection in case of broken gas line. You can use the pigtail hose with a 20 lb or 30 lb refillable propane tank and connect it to a regulator or 4-Port Brass Tee. It can also be used to connect to an installed 4-Port Tee as an auxiliary propane supply. Model#: 59153; Color: Multicolor

Instructions
Installation Instructions:1. Confirm pigtail is correct length. DO NOT PLACE PIGTAIL HOSE IN A BIND DURING INSTALLATION OR WHILE IN STORAGE. Camco offers Pigtails in a variety of lengths.2. Remove old pigtail, destroy and discard.3. Securely tighten the 1/4" Inverted Male Flare end of the Pigtail. Teflon tape is not needed for this connection.4. Hand tighten ACME nut into LP Cylinder connection. Teflon tape is not needed for this connection.5. Check each connection (including those upstream that may have been moved during installation) for gas leaks with Camco's Gas Leak Detector (10324, 10325). NEVER USE A FLAME TO CHECK FOR GAS LEAKS. If a gas leak is detected, immediately turn gas supply off at bottle. If the gas leak can not be remedied, please contact a qualified gas technician.Note: This hose should be routinely inspected. It must be replaced immediately if found worn, blistered or leaking.This device is equipped with excess flow protection. When gas is first supplied to system, wait 2 minutes before turning on downstream appliances to allow excess flow protection to reset. Reset time may vary depending on size of system. See additional warnings inside.
