calgon so great product for hard water

I like because it adds softness to the water... I live where the water is very hard. very hard on laundry...... fabric softeners really don't work it damaged the clothes and add a lot of extra perfumes in chemicals. calgon works differently it softens the water it makes your all of your laundry last longer and does soften your clothes but without the chemicals and the perfumes .....great product , glad then they brought it back

This is my favorite laundry hack

My neighborhood has extremely hard water. There are times the water softener isn't working so I keep a bottle of this in the laundry room. I did learn the hard way your clothes will be ruined if you don't wait to put them in the washer until the water has filled and fully mixed with the Calgon water softener. It will strip the clothing off color in spots if it's not well mixed and watered down. But when I use it the laundry gets really lot clean.

I don't write many reviews but y'all… this stuff IS AMAZING!! I have hard well water and my clothes always felt so stiff %26 coarse no matter what I tried. My grey towels always looked dingy with a lovely rust tint. After using Calgon my towels are actually gray again and FLUFFY! It was like they were brand new! Didn't realize how dull some of my clothes had gotten either until I washed with Calgon, it definitely brought my clothes back to life and the colors are vibrant again! I no longer have to do an extra rinse cycle for every load! Clothes come out soft and no hard water spots every time now!
