This thing's a blast!

This is a fun, unique target thrower. The targets are fun because they come out slow and then rapidly accelerate away from you. launching two is great because they diverge after a minute. wish I had paid attention to the target size. there is a Dove size and a pigeon size, which I didn't realize. I got two full tubes of dove size which was fine, but for some of the less experienced shooters in my group I think a larger target would have been better.

I was skeptical when I first bought this thrower. I questioned how well it would work and the distance that it would throw. I could tell you I'm extremely pleased. It is very easy to use. The clay copters go a great distance and probably the best thing is when you get a near hit or a hit, they would have slight direction changes up or down or to the side similar to what I've seen doves perform. I think the best part is the ClayCopter are biodegradable.

The Caldwell Claycopter is great. Very easy to use. Launches one or two ‘clays' 75 to 100 yards. They fly fast and slightly erratically, creating an effective simulation of real bird flight. If missed, the ‘clays' do not break upon ground contact and can really be reused. During our first use, we launched about 50 clays and afterwards the battery still showed “full”. It's a little expensive but provides useful training and is a ton of fun!
