Great taste

This is the first time I have cooked with chorizo, I was not disappointed at all. We have started a new tradition in our family for Christmas dinners, choosing a different region of the world and making the cuisine. Last year we chose Latino to cover a wider range. My dish was a hit in fact it was the highlight of dinner, with everyone raving about it. I cannot tell you how chorizo is supposed to look like or taste truthfully, but I can tell you this one did taste very well,and stood up to the finicky palates of children and teens. I will use this again trying new things to cook with it.

Didn't know what it was at first.

I bought this because it was cheap and was in the meat department, so I figured why not try it? This is a meat additive, it's too soft to patty out. I added it to my spaghetti sauce and it was fantastic. I buy the beef and pork chorizo now. I add it to tacos, spaghetti, chili and breakfast casseroles. It's a great punch to whatever you make. Try it.

while this isn't like true meat chorizo I like how easy it is to cook up in minutes and add eggs scrambling them in as far as taste it's slightly pepper hot up front but any other seasonings seem to stay in the background. in a warm tortilla or slice of bread it's quick easy and portable
