I am rating these now based on appearance only since I just received them. They appear well made. The gel and non gel cushioning is thicker than most cycling gloves I've seen. The area where the padding is has double stitching which is good. I would say that 75% of the palm is cushioned which is also better than most cycling gloves. I have another pair with the same type design, padding and stitching like these. After having the first pair for 6 years the material is just now starting to wear. I definitely got my money's worth on that first pair. I think these will last at least as long as the first ones.

Fit is right, padding in the right places

Having been a cyclist since the early 80s, I have worn my share of good gloves over the years .stopped for many years (life happens) and now in my 60s I am riding again. Could find my old gloves so I ordered these. They are probably the best summer gloves I have ever had. After buying them, I checked out some local bike shops and some online and saw nothing that came close to the thickness (just right) or features of these. They are easy to pull off, have the right amount if padding, but not too much to be bulky and they match my old gary fisher hookooeekoo bike that I ride now. Highly recommend these to new and seasoned cyclists. Great price and value!
