Cts Targets Lumber Target Holder

I've used it with the corresponding top and an 8" plate. Works great and very simple to use here. I'm in the Sandhills of NE so it goes into the ground like being at the beach. Here, because of the sand, it leans after repeating hits, but the functionality is great. You will need your own piece of 2X4 lumber (4' or so). I've used 40S&W lead bullets with no ricochets from 12 yds but don't know about jacketed rounds.

This is an awesome 2 by 4 holder. It is definitely worth every penny. It is super strong and I have not had any issues with it falling over or bending. The only thing that I can say is that it is a little difficult to get in when the ground is cold. I usually use a sledgehammer and bang on the top of it. If I was smart I would have put a piece of 2 x 4 down before hammering it into the ground because I did Bend up the top portion a little bit but that is my own fault. If you try to bang it in with the side brackets they will bend over a period of time. I have probably used this over 50 times and overall it is still working the way it was designed to.
