A bit heavier than others, but that speaks well of its seemingly ruggedness. Only complaint is that it's a little more difficult to ignite the lump charcoal with it, but hey, if this lasts as long as I think that it will, it's a great bang for the buck. It helps out quite well in a pinpoint starting/recharging of your cook while helping prevent a lot of waste.

I had a larger ones and it worked very well and I shared it with my neighbor. However each time I only uses half of it's capacity. So when I browsed and found this smaller one with good price I bought it and gave the larger one to my neighbor. :) It worked well and is perfect size for me.
