I actually bought these because I thought they were ceramic and because they were so inexpensive it was just what i needed. Unfortunately they were metal with ceramic coating (salad ingredients should not be cut with a metal knife for a longer shelf life). however, these turned out to be much nice than i expected so i will keep them and look for another set for my lettuce 😀

High Quality Knives

I love the craftsmanship of these knives. I am glad they also came with covers. The design on these is still intact after using them a few times. I must warn you that they are sharp; I cut two fingers on each hand by barely touching them, not realizing the small paring knife was in my dishwater.
