Burpee Clemson Spineless Okra is a beloved 1939 All-America Selections winner, Clemson Spineless okra's vigorous 4' plants produce an abounding harvest of spineless, dark-green, grooved pods. Okra adds body and flavor to soups, stews, and relishes, and can be grilled, braised, steamed and sautéed. Pick pods when young at 2½-3" long for best flavor. It is an annual vegetable seed. It grows to a mature height and spread of 48 inches. You can sow both indoors and outdoors just needs to be after the last frost. It takes around 56 days to mature for harvest. It grows best in full sun of six plus hours a day. The best growing zones are 1-11.
