Bulova Diamond White Mother of Pearl Dial Ladies Watch 96R105

A beautiful time piece that represents the quality of the Bulova name. It's a clean, shiny silver around the face, links and the button that sets the date in a small silver square. This button has horizontal ridges and two in and out positions. It would be very helpful to the owner to take the time to thoroughly read the directions for adjusting the time. The number is small but clear, I need glasses in general so it's difficult to see. You muat reset in on your own for February and daylight savings time. A little tedious as the hands should only be moved forward. The top and bottom flare out slightly and form the main connection to attach the bracelet of links. The outer part of each link resembles capital letter I. Connecting each of these has a slightly matte silver square with thin rectangular vertical rectangles. The links continue around the bracelet and disguise the flip open clasp. A suggestion, clean the inside of the clasp often as matter accumulates and it appears grungy a little. This is if you wear the watch often like I do except when I shower or it could be immersed on water. It is somewhat waterproof but I dint each to take chances. The face is mother of pearl that has a barely distinguishable opulent, pale turquoise blue. You have to move the watch around in order for the face to shimmer ever so slightly giving it a soft, feminine look. It appears to be made of stainless steel. I don't know what the face is made of but I've accidentally knocked it around and the face has not chipped, cracked or become scratched. This time piece has just enough shimmer to look sophisticated and the wee diamond bits catch the light easily and give a wink of twinkle. I wear this everyday, playing sports, around the house, to work, do housework, unpack boxes and it's been sturdy. I've dropped it and it still works. I love this watch and the elegance it carries. I left the links as they were, did not have the bracelet fitted. It looks like a very chic, modern bracelet. I have a small wrist and it compliments it as an actual bracelet. I paid a little more than two hundred and it was worth it. If I need something more flashy, dressy and shimmering I simply wear the watch face up. I'm my opinion it's versatile. None of the women in my family wear watches or else I could give one as a special gift. They use their phone to check the date and time. I can't do without mine. Bulova is a very nice, stylish entry level to expensive, high end, much costlier timepieces with bigger diamonds and lots of flash. To me, I it's begging to be stolen of your wrist. The name Bulova goes way back.
