Bulldog Hardware 4 in. Heavy Duty Tee Hinge, Zinc Plated

The Bulldog Hardware Heavy Duty Tee Hinge is ideal for installing and reinforcing gates, shed doors, barn doors or other heavy doors. It has countersunk screw holes on each side of the hinge for reinforcement and the offset mounting holes are designed to give additional strength and support. Exterior hinges are typically installed in a pair, one at the top and one at the bottom when mounting to wood doors and frames. In the case of a door with heavy weight, a third tee hinge is recommended in the middle for optimal support. The tee hinge is made from heavy duty steel which provides durability consistent use and has a zinc-plated finish for rust resistance. Tee hinges are designed to be seen, they can be used outdoors on a variety of gates and doors creating a rustic farmhouse decorative look. Installation screws are sold separately.
