Buck Knives 780 Exert Liner-Lock Folding Knife

It's a Buck Knife, and it came razor sharp. This one was made offshore I think, but Buck has been doing lot's of value models that way for years. The value, the fit and finish, the feel in the hand, it felt like a great value for what it is, a big sharp folder that isn't too heavy to carry. Get one, if for no other reason than to save your USA made Buck Knives from uses that might be abusive to those beautiful knives. I cut wires, I dug up some weeds in a planter, I cut a wash cloth out of the drain auger-snake after my great grandson apparently flushed it down my toilet. I had a much more expensive Buck 110 Slim Pro in my pocket but for that nasty task, this one was a perfect choice. When I finished that landlord stuff that day with the Exert, I spent a minute or two sharpening the blade on a ceramic rod sharpening stick and washed the whole thing in Dawn dish soap and hot water using regular dish brushes to reach the inside hidden crannies. For folders I use a spritz of cooking oil inside and out. I am more likely to use it to cut up a waffle for my great grandson that to skin a deer or start a fire with a ferro-rod these days, so food safe lubrication works fine for me. By these for tool box, tackle box, glove box or your work pants pocket. Get extras to give away too. This a real work knife and most anybody would like to have one.
