The tree did not look like the picture and I'm glad it didn't as it shouldn't, they're trees! It was much better, much bigger, and seemingly much healthier, I'll buy any future Bonsai thru Walmart; I would recommend doing so to other beginner Bonsai enthusiasts!

The tree arrived intact and the soil was moist.

The tree arrived intact and soil was moist. The picture shows a full layer of moss on top of soil but it had a tiny bit of moss on the soil and a tiny bit of moss on the trunk. That was disappointing as the full moss was one reason I purchased this particular Bonsai. I was very disappointed not to have all the moss So I put some pebbles around on top of the soil but later I took them off and have since bought some moss sports to try to grow moss.
