A great printer at a great price!
I purchased a canon laser printer at more than twice the cost of the Brother MFC-L2690DW, and the Canon was nothing but a problem from the outset! This printer is great - easy to download the drivers to both mac and pc devices, and was "plug and play." So easy! And the quality has been great, and the printer takes up less space than the Canon printer. I use the printer primarily for printing/editing drafts of documents, printing shipping labels, and any paper docs that I need to keep. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great printer for the price, economical and fast.
I purchased this as the last item on the shelf early in the pandemic when printers were rare to find, but I was glad to get it, because finally, I have a printer with a scanner and fax function that just works after years of struggling with inkjets and a Dell laser printer. Setup took about an hour, and the Airprint works wonderfully to work off my wireless devices, along with the the regular PC and Mac drivers. Scanning is perfect, and I love having a fax machine on hand to deal with the paperwork that's made up this pandemic's existence so far. About the only criticism I have is regarding envelope printing; you have to guide the envelope through to make sure you ended up with a straight print. But if you read the instructions carefully, you pretty much figure it out after a few dud prints. I've also gotten a good 350 pages from the starter cartridge, so hopefully the retail cartridge will offer much more printing in the future. Happy with this printer, and I'm sure I'll have it for years to come.
