Backyard Expressions Resin Bird Bath with Bird

At first glance I did not like this birdbath. It is made out of thin, lightweight plastic which I do not like. I intended to throw it away, but didn't only because the garbage pickup just ran for the week. So I had to look at it everyday for a week. But to my surprise it's greater qualities where revealed to me. The day it arrived we had a tremendous wind, rain, and hailstorm. It did not receive any damage at all. It was not anchored to the ground and did not blow over with 30 to 40mph wind gusts. The hail stones just bounced right off like rubber balls. So on second thought maybe I had a winner afterall!Then I discovered it's greatest quality for a weak, old gardener. It was super easy to move around, which made rehersal placement of my much bigger, heavier birdbaths go very smoothly indeed. So I clearly rate this birdbath a 5 star winner. Glad the trash ran early or I would have never known!!!

If you're looking for something economical for a corner of your garden, this is fine. It looks all right from a distance and has anchors to keep it pinned securely to the ground. You probably wouldn't use this as a centerpiece, though, since you can tell that it's plastic from up close.
