Love My Tires!

I just purchased my new (used) car and knew that I'd need tires pretty much immediately. I did a bit of research online and then went to a Firestone Complete Autocare where they helped me narrow down my online choices...I couldn't be happier! My car already drove smoothly (even on bald tires), but man oh man--put these Bridgestones on and it's an unbelievable ride!! Once you go Bridgestone you never go back!!

I'm satisfied

I really appreciate how smoothly the vehicle now drives: - The road adhesion coefficient has improved. - The braking distance has decreased. - I don't need to turn the steering wheel as much when cornering. $104 for each tire, it's insanely cheap ))))

Best X5 M-Sport Tires, Period!

In 2013 I purchased a brand new X5 xDrive 50i w/ M-Sport Package for my parents as a Christmas present. (Yes, what else would you get great parents?) I had to drive it about 350 miles, on a Very rainy Christmas Eve afternoon. Let me put it this way - it was a real struggle to actually hand them the keys when I arrived. What made it such a struggle, was how amazing that vehicle performed in heavy rain - at speed. The trip was about 90% highway, but we're talking slick highways with poor drainage in many areas. After about thirty minutes I was completely amazed at how well the X5 gripped the road. Seriously, it was unreal. The AWD helped, no doubt. But, even so, these tires are seriously wide and you would expect them to be a handful when you're driving in torrential rain. Like I said - flawless. Like I said, I loved the vehicle so much I decided to purchase one for myself. I purchased a 2011 X5 xDrive 50I w/ 40k miles. The tires, factory spec Dueller H/P Sports, were pretty low on tread life so the first thing I did was purchase a new set from my BMW dealer. After about 16k miles I replaced that first set. (I could have squeezed another 4k out of the tires, but summer was coming soon and I wanted a new set to start the summer right.# Yes, purchased another set from the BMW dealership and put 12k miles on that set. For whatever reason, maybe my driving that summer, I was about 3k-4k miles away from needing a replacement so I purchased my third set. With 5k miles on them at the time I'm writing this review they are running strong and, like the two sets before them, I couldn't ask for a better tire. All I can say is that if these tires were not specifically designed for this vehicle you would never know it. I will never run another tire on my X5. By the way, the parents just replaced their first set of tires after 22k miles. They probably had another 3k left on them, but they were visiting so I told them we should go ahead and replace them while they were in town. That was about 3k miles ago and their tires, like mine, are perfect. Few quick notes: 1. Get your vehicle aligned every time you replace your tires.. 2. Never had a problem with tire pressure. Not once. 3. With alignment, I've never had a problem with uneven wear. 4. Quiet ride for about the first 10k miles on each set, but even when I put 20k on the tire noise was never rose to a level that I would say was irritating. Was noticeable, but not bad. 5. I always purchase my tires from the BMW dealership. They have always given me a competitive price and I appreciate the fact they stand behind the tires. In fact, they discounted my second set because I only got 12k out of them. They probably didn't have to, but they're first class #Hendrick BMW Charlotte). Hope this helps. Remember, you get what you pay for. Get the best.
