H/L ALENZA PLUS/SILVERADO Z71 4x4

I looked and reviewed many tires & mfg before deciding on the dueler. I have been off road, driven over 200 miles in heavy blowing snow & freezing rain and this tire never gave me any concerns. My wife says that my truck rides better than her suv. Most off road tires have a limited warranty or none at all with the 80k warranty this tire cannot be beat. I bought my tires at a Firestone store and get free tire rotations for the duration of tire life. One other thing my wife has decided she wants a set of these tires on her suv.

Alenza Plus

These tires are a great replacement from my Michelin LTX Defender, Michelins had a lot of road noise and felt spongy when pulling my trailer. These tires feel firm when pulling my trailer, I will be purchasing another set of the Alenza Plus. No complaints so far. Highly recommend these tires to anyone.

Great Tires

There was a set of these tires on the vehicle when I purchased it. I have no idea how many miles were on them....however there was an abundance of tread left I had put around 50000 miles on them and only had to replace them because I hit a deep pothole at about 65 mph at night and damaged two of them. My vehicle is all wheel drive, and heavy. It seems like they wear evenly on this type of vehicle and only need to be rotated ever 7-8000 miles. I inflate them to 38 lbs on the back and 40 on the front. Being careful to check them to make sure they do not over inflate above the tires max. recommended 45 lbs if driving in hot weather. Usually I have to let a bit of air out of them in late spring if driving on the open road as they heat up. I do this because the tires roll easier and seems to get better MPG. The tires wear extremely even, and I suspect with proper rotation I will get to the 80,000 mile warranty the tire has on it. Also they are very quiet. Can't notice them even with the window open on the open road.
