Review For Blizzak LM-25 RFT

This is a dedicated winter tire so those of you that complain about them wearing fast and drive them in the summer do not use them properly. This is my 3rd set of Blizzaks on 3 different cars and I drive 100+ miles a day winter and summer and swap them out with summer tires during the water months. Anyone that does this should see 2-3 winter seasons on these tires with ease. Thoseof you that have low mile commutes may have to replace them because of age before they will wear out. Last season I ran Conti winter contact and they reaked havoc with my BMWs traction control, never again will I run anything other than Blizzaks in the winter months. Remember, these are NOT summer tires.

Review For Blizzak LM-25 RFT

These tires make my 760Li (rear drive) quite usable throughout the winter months. On two occassions I have beefitted by the run flat technology; once driving the car from Boston to Allentown, PA (320miles)without air (valve stemfailure); and once (just last noght) driving from New York to Allentown after apothole induced blowout (the wheel was alos bent badly, but the technology allowed a safe albeit cautious drive to complete.

Review For Blizzak LM-25 RFT

This tires are absolutely incredible. I bought these to replacemy OE Turanza All-Seasons for the long AK winters (we usually keep winter tireson for 8 months/year). Much more quiet than the Turanzas, I was tempted to just keep these on through the summer! Tread wear isn't bad, but of course it getsworse when driving them in warmer temps.< br>< br>The most amazing feature of these tires is the sheer level of grip. One necessity when driving on ice/snow is a quick stopping ability, and these tires could stop on a DIME. I actually rarely use the full braking power on these because people behind me cannot stop as well. I can also corner better and out accelerate anyone off a traffic light- anincredible feat in that most standing starts are on pure ice and a vast majority of people here drive Subies with studded tires. High speed cruising in this car is EXCELLENT. A quiet, comfortable ride with as much confidence as anyone can expect to put in a tire.< br>< br>Coupled with xDrive and these tires, my car handles on ice just about as well as it does in the summer. I bought these tires last winter and I did not spin, lose control, or get into an unintended slide ONCE, even in emergency situations. You can literally cruise around in the winterat 90+ on these tires (at your own risk of course). I would buy these tires again even if they were twice the price.
