This ice cream is SO GOOD. Although I like mint and chocolate together, think York Peppermint Patty or Andes Creme de Menthe, it isn't a flavor I normally choose for Ice Cream. Over the summer, when it was scorchingly hot (in South Florida) I noticed this flavor in Carbsmart and thought maybe it would be very refreshing. SO GLAD I TRIED IT...it's absolutely delicious. The ice cream is super pale green, almost white, with a mild, not overpowering, mint flavor. There's a thin swirl of chocolate running through it, and bits of varying sized crunchy chocolate cookie pieces scattered around. Beware-this ice cream is VERY SOFT. Not an issue for me - I like it that way. Also- you must put it in a small bowl - if you eat it from the box, you will easily eat the whole container. For me, all of the other Carbsmart flavors pale in comparison. One last note - as others have mentioned - the quality control is a bit lacking, as in- some containers have a lot more cookie crunchies than others, or the size of the cookie pieces varies quite a bit, sometimes the fudge ribbon is very thin, other times much thicker, occasionally the mint flavor is slightly stronger than others - but the bottom line is that EACH and EVERY CONTAINER has been spectacularly delicious, regardless of the variation.
