easy to install, easy to use

I've installed several of these Moen seats - love the look (low profile!) and functionality of these units. For those troubled by the beeps: Read The Manual - 'Product Functions' 'To turn seat sound off: Press the "H/C Massage" and "Automatic Clean" buttons on the remote for 3 seconds' Option to connect water for seat at tap instead of at tank inlet (e.g. 1/4" connection) would help with tighter installations such as skirted toilets (reaching tank inlet can be very awkward!)

Definitely an intelligent bidet seat

I find the operation and options excellent: full pressure is too much for me but it's simply adjusted by arrows, and heat choices are cold, warm and hot. One automatic posterior clean cycle button and stop button are on the seat. Or choose, stop, or change the functions instantly with the remote control -- you can place it where you prefer. I consider the little tones quiet and reassuring that it's working. The seat sensor activates a little water dribble at first, I suppose to keep the functions clean. Automatic UV cleaning activates when there's no more weight on the seat. Compared to many other bidets this seat's low profile and streamlined lid look especially sleek. I installed mine without much difficulty (after watching Web videos), I only wish the cord was longer--barely 4' but I got it to reach the outlet on the opposite side by running it behind the tank. I installed a replacement skirted toilet [its connection to the water intake is tricky to reach, however] at the same time so did not have to remove a prior toilet seat. Therefore the top mounting bolts worked easily; but there's a very slight give to my seat's placement likely because I don't have a man's strength with a screw driver. No complaints, really, and plenty of raves from me!

YOU CAN TURN OFF THE BEEP

So I read all the reviews about the annoying beep everytime you sit on it. There's a way to turn it off and I'll explain here. You disconnect the seat entirely and flip it over upside down. There's 4 tiny screws and some clips you use a butter knife to undo and the it comes apart but be gentle. Once flipped over you'll see a circuit board with a bunch of wires. The speaker is on this board and it looks like the pic attached in my review. Take your screw driver and shove it in the little hole on top to break it apart GENTLY. Until you see a bronze looking piece of metal underneath the plastic nipple. Take this metal piece out and make sure the two microscopic wires underneath are destroyed/disconnected. REASSEMBLE and DONE. No more beep. Ever again even if you wanted it which you don't, trust me.
