Designed for left or right-hand doors, this door knob fits the two most common backsets in the U.S. (2-3/4 inches and 2-3/8 inches). The durable 2-way latch has a 1/2 inch latch bolt plated in nickel and does not budge once in place. Use this locking knob on standard 1-3/8 inches and 1-3/4 inches thick doors. This lock has a 1 inch by 2-1/4 inches radius corner faceplate and features a 5-pin cylinder for your security. If you are preparing your door for installation, the cross bore should be 2-1/8 inches in diameter and the edge bore should be 1 inch in diameter.
