This is my first time trying this item. I had my sons try them as well. Works better/as well as melatonin for them as far as getting to relax and sleep. We tried them before bedtime so no one would be sleepy in the middle of the day (in case that happened) . It did help relax me and shut my brain down from having "the week in review". I also can sleep peacefully thru the night as well.
