The C by GE On/Off Smart Switch-Paddle adds smart bulb functionality to traditional bulbs and keeps smart bulbs smart. The classic design blends seamlessly with other paddle switches. The smart Wi-Fi switch adds out-of-home control, scheduling and scene setting to traditional bulbs. When C by GE smart bulbs are installed, the smart switch allows app or voice control even when power is turned off at the switch. Pair the Smart Switch with C by GE Smart Bulbs in other fixtures like table lamps and control your all your lights in the room from one wall switch. C by GE On/Off Smart Switch wirelessly connects with other C by GE Smart Switches so you can control the same light fixture from multiple switches without a travel wire, even if the switches are on different circuits. Simple DIY set up. The Smart Switch connects directly with Google Home and Amazon Alexa devices without a hub required. Neutral wire--usually a white or gray wire--is required.

Love these smart switches!
We haven't had these smart switches very long, but love them so far. They were easy to install, look nice, and have settings to turn on/off our lights at certain times, or when at sunrise/sunset. Our previous smart switches had a separate hub that controlled them. The hub died and they don't make them anymore. We purchased these to replace the old ones. I really like that these GE switches don't have a hub.

Good switch, but low value
I personally goofed up thinking it was a dimmable switch, however it is simply an on/off switch. Installation is about as normal as it can be of connecting 5 wires, and a few screws. Install manual clearly states load/line is interchangable however this is incorrect as I ran into an issue when these wires were not installed correctly. Getting it to connect to GE's app was fairly simple, however getting it to connect with google home was a little more time consuming. It all works now, and I can easily control it from my phone or google home speaker. I'm giving it 4 stars because while yes I made the error of thinking it was dimmable, the price for a simple on/off switch doesn't provide good value. This switch is great if you have people in your house who simply forget to shut off lights. You can shut them off yourself from your phone.
