Wrong part, wrong holder, wrong reaction.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know about the product because it doesn't fit the holder. Apparently LG had several refrigerator versions that used a different holder, but didn't tell the consumers or their parts suppliers that things had changed. They still haven't. They can figure out who has them and proactively reach out, but they are stuck in reactive mode and making a lot of people either mad or befuddled and using the wrong filter and/or holder. Very bad management. I'm getting the right one sent to me, but how many aren't?

I ordered the LG brand replacement air filter. Recieved 2 unboxed *generic" filters and paid higher price for the brand name filter. Very disappointed.
