Smoother ride loaded and unloaded.

Installed these several weeks ago on my 2014 Ram 2500 CTD with a leveled front end by Thuren fabrication. At first, they only made a slight difference in unloaded ride. There was about a quarter inch gap between them unloaded. This did help the aftershock feeling when hitting bumps, but it was not as smooth as I expected. I called Supersprings to get a 1 inch spacer that made them come in contact all the time. This made a huge difference in absorbing the bumps. Better than my air bags did when unloaded. I finally got a chance to tow my 12k 5ver with them this past weekend. I did not have have that much sag(about an inch after sag in the rear) without these and the truck handled most bumps with no issues. It is only the large bumps that would make the back end bounce even with my aftermarket air bags. After installing these, there was less sag and the hard bumps did not cause the back end to bounce anymore. They absorbed the big bumps very well and made a noticeable difference in towing stability when going over uneven terrain. The ride quality is better than my air bags, however, air bags or the black version of these that are rated for more weight may be a better choice if you have considerable sagging issues(more than a few inches) and want to fix that.
