Very absorbing and thicker than the brands I have bought before. I like that I can buy them in bulk. I always bought one extra to keep on hand. Then I ran out. So I used my bounty paper towels as a backup until I was to get more napkins. Little did I realize that Bounty had me covered. You can use one or the other because they have the pick a size on paper towels. You can have a full size or a half size (this one you can fold in half and make a napkin). Unless you have a huge mess like dropped eggs all over the floor, and then you will need more than one full paper towel anyway. When I cook or microwave pre-cooked bacon or sausage, I have a few plates that I use to put the cooked product on and they are just the right size for 2 of the half size paper towels folded together especially for the sausage when you don't have a strainer. The paper towels are just the right size and perfect absorption to pull the grease from what was cooked. Then I can actually take a container to transfer the meat into, throw away the paper towels and only wash one plate. Put the lid on the container and put in fridge. Job done and I have enough meat for several days (usually around a week). I eat the meat with grits, oatmeal, toast and eggs, any number of things and I have a full breakfast quickly, or meat and toast to make it until lunch. Be creative and you will be able to come up with other things you can use the paper towels that will save you time and money!! This job Done!
