It's a honoring those that have passed but you have to use ornaments or decorations for tree that are nature friendly and weather friendly. No glass. Green is for moms birthday. Unless you're decorating a table tree the ones that sit on the shelf there's no purpose for these. They're extremely small. I wasn't paying attention when I ordered it clearly but I have no use for them and I'm sending them back. I should've known something with the right when I was getting them for $2.97.
