Eat some, and plant

chives for my potato pancakes! after cutting half of the tops ( just above soil level ) I had enough to add some to the batter with enough to garnish x 4 plates. planted the entire plant/s in a 6" pot and they're growing very well in Central Florida.

Quick Growing

I split mine and planted in different containers as companion plants in my garden. The more you cut them down, the more they grow! Taste good too! I've already harvested some.

Good shape, small but healthy looking

I've never grown chives before, but got them for their fragrance to deter pests in my container vegetable garden. I will also use cuttings from them for cooking over the season.
