Product details
Bondo Fiberglass Resin Jelly features a resin that is reinforced with milled fiberglass for a thicker consistency. More firm but still workable, it provides smooth, drip-free application. It can be used in small holes and minor rust-outs without backing strips, cloths and mats. This waterproof fiberglass resin jelly is especially suitable for vertical surfaces on autos and boats.

Instructions
. 3M Body Repair System. Pull dents, patch holes, and make small repairs. Directions (Read all directions and warnings for safe and proper application.). 1. Clean area to be prepared with soap and water. Let dry. Clean with residue remover to remove silicon wax. 2. Cut away damaged area and loose pieces. 3. Use coarse sandpaper or disc to remove paint, primer or gel coat down to bare metal or fiberglass. Extend sanded repair area at least 3 inches beyond damage. Remove sanding dust. 4. Mixing: Knead cream hardener tube thoroughly. For a golf ball-size amount of resin jelly, squeeze out 1 1/4 inch strip of hardener, or mix a 3 inch diameter circle 1/2 inch thick of resin jelly to a 3 inch strip of cream hardener. Mix thoroughly to a uniform color on clean, non-porous surface. Mix only small amounts that can be used within 3-4 minutes. Do not add cream hardener in resin jelly container. Spread initial thin layer of mixed filler over repair area using firm pressure to ensure maximum adhesion. Place fiberglass mat or cloth on top of resin jelly mixture. Next, quickly spread more resin jelly on top of fiberglass mat or cloth. 5. Sand repair area with 80 grit sandpaper after 20-25 minutes. Apply a very thin layer of Bondo4® body filter to fill pinholes or small imperfections and featheredge. 6. Finish with primer and paint. For best results apply at 45° F (7°C) or above. Easy to mix and adheres well to metal surfaces even when facing down. You could cover it in plastic to avoid dripping until it dries. Easy to sand after about half hour in warm weather. Needs reinforcement for large holes.
