Key item features

Bond Curved 12 ft Adjustable Telescoping Pole Pruner with Coated Blades

  • Durability: Steel is known for its strength and durability, ensuring that the handle can withstand heavy use without breaking or bending
  • Corrosion Resistance: Most types of steel used in tools are resistant to corrosion, especially if they are coated or treated, making it ideal for outdoor use
  • Weight: Steel handles tend to add some weight to the tool, which can provide more control and power behind each stroke, though they may be heavier to handle for long periods
  • Low Maintenance: Steel handles typically require little maintenance beyond occasional cleaning, making them convenient for long-term use
  • Heat Conductivity: Steel is a good conductor of heat, which can make the handle hot if left in the sun or cold in low temperatures. Adding a grip or padding might help with this

Great pruner for the price

This review is for the Bond 8975 pruner. Things I like : The head is metal. The saw blade is easily replaced. The stock one is sharp. The lopper works really well. I've chopped branches over an inch thick with no problem. The poles are pretty stiff. Even when maxed out on length they don't flex too much. The length adjustment is metal and it actually holds under load. Yes! Things I didn't like so much: The saw blade is pretty flexible. It does the job but could be stiffer. The line for the lopper is a bit too short in some circumstances, but it's so easy to add string to it that it's really a non-issue. For the same price this pruner is way better than the ones offered at H*me Dep*t or L*wes. I tried both of those and returned them, mostly because the cheap plastic length adjustment holder was weak sauce on both and failed immediately. I didn't really even get to give them a workout. This Bond pruner I have given a workout and so far it's doing great.

12 foot pruner

This pruner is of the highest quality and works perfectly. We were impressed with its sturdiness and we would recommend it to anyone needing to trim branches off their trees!
